Published proceedings
For authors
Everything you need before submitting: formatting rules, review process, fees, payment and travel information.
NUSTPAS will not accept any paper which, at the time of submission, is under review, is accepted for publication, or has already been published in another conference or journal. Authors are also expected not to submit their papers elsewhere during the NUSTPAS reviewing period.
Regular papers must include the abstract, figures, tables and references. All submitted articles should report original, previously unpublished research results, whether experimental or theoretical.
General note: the author list and paper title in the submitted PDF must exactly match those in the registration system. Any mismatch may lead to rejection, and the author list cannot be changed after acceptance. Only Microsoft Word files are accepted for review, uploaded through the official Microsoft CMT submission system.
Important: it is the sole responsibility of the authors to ensure compliance with all requirements. Papers with plagiarism issues, language problems, ethical concerns or technical violations may be rejected at any stage without refund.
The NUSTPAS conference follows strict anti-plagiarism policies. All submitted papers are checked using Crossref Similarity Check powered by Turnitin before being forwarded to the scientific committee for review. Any submission found to contain plagiarism may be rejected at any stage of the review or publication process.
Authors are required to check their manuscripts using licensed plagiarism detection tools (for example Turnitin or iThenticate) before submission.
For more information about plagiarism detection and similarity checks, visit turnitin.com.
Articles submitted to the conference must meet all submission criteria and must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere. We firmly believe that ethical conduct is a fundamental principle of academic research; any act of plagiarism or academic misconduct is strictly unacceptable.
This conference is designed for members of academia as well as professionals from non-profit, public and private sectors interested in the latest developments in applied science.
If you do not fall into any of the categories listed above but are interested in learning from leading academics and engaging in a rich, interactive environment, you are warmly invited to register and participate.
Registrant contact information is not shared with third parties without your consent. Information is primarily used to verify registration and to notify you about related academic events organized by the conference. Your contact details may be shared with sponsors only upon your explicit consent during registration.
We collect information you provide directly when registering, filling forms or communicating with us. This may include your email address, mailing address and other relevant contact or identification details required for event participation.
We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties. For specific events you may choose to share your contact information with sponsors for promotions or offers, and you may opt out at any time.
The NUSTPAS conference follows a double-blind review process for all submitted papers. Each paper is initially screened using Turnitin plagiarism software. Papers that pass the similarity check are assigned by the scientific committee to 3–5 independent reviewers for evaluation using structured forms aligned with publishing standards.
Use Times New Roman 10 pt for main text (endnotes and index: 8 pt). All text must be single-spaced. Maximum length is 5000 words including abstract and references. Use Find & Replace to convert double spaces into single spaces until none remain.
References must follow the Harvard referencing style. Use JPEG for grayscale photos at a minimum of 150 dpi, embedded in the Word file, and ensure figures fit the page size (115 mm × 180 mm) to avoid resizing issues.
Ensure that your manuscript complies with the stated formatting rules before submission to avoid delays during review and proceedings preparation.
All submissions must be written in English and prepared using the official conference Microsoft Word template in accordance with the conference proceedings guidelines.
All submitted papers are screened using Crossref Similarity Check powered by Turnitin before being forwarded for peer review. Any paper found to contain plagiarism will be automatically rejected at any stage of the review process.
Papers that pass the plagiarism check are assigned to the scientific committee and reviewed by 2–3 expert reviewers. Reviewers evaluate submissions based on standardized evaluation criteria, and the final decision is taken by the editor.
The review process typically takes up to two weeks and authors receive detailed feedback upon completion. If revisions are required, authors have up to two weeks to address reviewer comments and resubmit. Upon acceptance, further registration instructions are sent by email.
To ensure that accepted and recommended manuscripts are clear, accurate and professionally presented, papers referred for proofreading and editing services are subject to a separate service fee based on the total number of words.
Conference partner: proofreading and editing services are provided by our official partner PaperTrue. For details visit www.papertrue.com.
